WHAT TYPE OF WORK WAS REQUIRED:

Balcony  renovation and roof repairs

 

THE PROBLEM:

A condition assessment of the balconies and roof revealed that a selection of the balconies and all of the roof required replacement.

 

WHAT WE DISCOVERED:

The balconies were not constructed originally with a proper slope to drain,  The roof shingles had aged to the point of requiring replacement.  The gutter and eavestrough system was under sized for the building.

 

THE SOLUTION:

The balconies were re-built with a proper slope and a new membrane installed.  New hail and wind-resistant shingles were installed.  New, larger eavestroughs and downspouts were installed.

 

THE END RESULT:

The owners now have a roof system that will last many years and balconies that do not leak into the building.
